Frank Leone is a New York City based actor, writer, singer/songwriter, and producer. He has worked on screen and on stage, wrote, produced and starred in a musical comedy web series, and has written music and lyrics to numerous songs in collaboration with different composers.
Frank is a graduate of Wayne State University, in his native state of Michigan, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Performance. Frank has trained at the Moscow Art Theatre (MXAT) in Moscow, Russia, as well as at Studio 5 Conservatory in Brooklyn, New York studying Balinese Mask and Michael Chekhov technique under the instruction of Per Brahe and Aole T. Miller.
Most recently, Frank has completed Improv Level 2 at the Magnet Theatre, as well as Musical Improv Level 1. He is also taking American Sign Language classes at the Sign Language Center in midtown Manhattan. In August, Frank travelled to the Theater Work Center in Bali to study Balinese mask work again with Per Brahe, as well as Lucid Body with Fay Simpson. On a weekly basis, Frank works with Steven Katz for private voice lessons, as well as with Dylan Hintz of SAGA Action Arts for one on one stage combat training.
